9 Year Old- Spokane Valley Golfer Wins State Championship

Brayden Miles, a nine year old junior golfer from the Spokane Valley, won the Idaho Junior Golf State tournament held in Twin Falls Idaho on Aug 13-14.




Brayden qualified for the Idaho Junior Golf State Championships by ranking in the top 30% of all 9 year old tour members in the State of Idaho. Monday, Aug 13 he shot his personal best score of 41 and that evening at the banquet he received the Player of the Year award for his age group for his golfing accomplishments. He proved on Tuesday that he was worthy of the selection by capturing the state tournament by 4 shots!  Way to go Brayden! 

Brayden is also a member of the Spokane chapter of the First Tee, The Washington Junior Golf Association, and the Prairie Falls Golf Club.
