New Mexico grad transfer Elijah Brown picks Oregon

Elijah Brown, who visited Gonzaga last week and is considered one of college basketball’s top graduate transfers, has committed to Oregon, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

French guard Joel Ayayi signs with Gonzaga

Joel Ayayi, a 6-foot-5 combination guard from France, announced his commitment to Gonzaga on Thursday. He picked the Zags over Georgia Tech after visiting both schools earlier this month.

Gonzaga coach Mark Few visited Golden State Warriors practice, and that provided Stephen Curry a fond memory: he hit 8 of 10 3-pointers in a dazzling 40-point performance for Davidson during a first-round NCAA Tournament victory over Gonzaga in March 2008 – 30 of those points after halftime. Few told the two-time reigning NBA MVP it all started that day in Raleigh, North Carolina.
