Now head east along Tubbs Hill, past the large, open grassy area (sculpted like an amphitheater for concerts and other performances) and curve around to the large picnic pavilion in the center of the park. This space can seat around 250 people and be reserved for family reunions, weddings, birthday parties and other gatherings. You can even drink there, with an alcohol permit. The pavilion also houses restrooms and the controls for the nearby splash pad.
