Pathways and landscaping

(Kathy Plonka)

McEuen has plenty of pathways to guide visitors around, and all are designed to meet disability standards, with gentle slopes. The Centennial Trail has its own route through the park, separate from foot traffic. Concrete paths are for walkers, and asphalt is designated for bikes and skateboards. Look for signs directing you to the correct paths. Trees, bushes and grass added all over the park got a boost from Coeur d’Green, a nitrogen-rich compost made from biosolids culled from the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
