March 6-16. Presented by the SFCC Revelers Drama Club. Written by Jeffrey Thatcher, the play takes place in 1661 London. The period’s leading actor, Edward Kynaston, exclusively portrays females on stage until King Charles II changes the law to allow women to act. Kynaston goes quickly from celebrated actor and secret paramour of the Duke of Buckingham to a has-been who loses the acceptance of the London community. Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
