Featuring the celebrated poet, writer and filmmaker, Sherman Alexie. His awards include: PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction, PEN/Malamud Award for Short Fiction and the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature among many others. Alexie grew up on the Spokane Indian Reservation in Wellpinit. Proceeds from this event benefit the Salish School of Spokane.
