Bunning called the bluff

Thank you, Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.), finally someone in Washington is willing to step up for some modicum of fiscal responsibility, even if it is bald demagoguery. The reaction to him is so fun to watch, though it’s sad for our country to see how pathetic our “leaders” have become.
Congress passed paygo and has been touting this legislation as evidence that this Congress and administration is serious about fiscal responsibility. Sen. Bunning just called their bluff and has shown how deceitful, irresponsible and unaccountable they all are.
I’ve received canned responses from our senators in response to my letters, which indicate how out of touch they are with the majority of Americans. They have brought our country to the brink of ruin, and along with their accomplices in the press will not acknowledge any culpability. I hope and pray we’ll finally get some leadership that is responsible and accountable. We all are so fed up with their irresponsible disregard for we responsible, hard-working, tax-paying citizens. They have abused us for far too long, using the tax code and our sweat to buy their votes. This American prays they get their just reward and voted out of office.
