Holiday Lights 2018

A list of home displays submitted by Spokesman-Review readers.

Spokane

323 West Barnes Road, Spokane, WA

Large Nativity display along with all the fun decorations like deer and Santas. Christmas music plays from the chimney so roll down the window to hear some of the classic carols you grew up with.

Oh, Deer!

Angels visit the Nativity, as deer drink water in the creek, while swans are swimming. A dog arrives in a carriage, and snowflakes light the path. Fox, squirrel, raccoon, penguin, bears. Large corner display.

Corner of Elm and Montgomery

A corner lot that has hand made displays that cover the entire "L" of this corner lot. It is not so much the lights, but the hand made displays that are the attraction (they are all lit up at night with flood lights.)

West Olympic

Come visit the North Pole! We have lots of blow ups and lights.

North Whitehouse

Pretty blue and white lights and soft blue walkway lights with simple decorations of Joy, snowman, deer,trees and presents around.

Millerland

Millerland is BACK !!! The lights are hung by the gutters with care. The snowmen are playing and having lots of fun in the yard. The solider-lined sidewalk is the path to the animated window. The manger is lit, with the three wise men and the angel is a tooting her horn. The carolers are singing outside the church and the gingerbread people are out playing. After taking last year off, we are ready to put smiles on the faces of the young and old. Come enjoy fantasyland if only for a few minutes. Santa had open heart surgery so his appearances will be limited, but the music is charming, the scene is complete. Come by our house, we promise it's neat!

Knapp 2018 lights

10,000+ lights, 24 inflatables, a helicopter on roof and a 16-foot-tall Santa grace this Hillyard-area display.

529 E Cozza Dr, Spokane, WA

Yard full of many illuminated Christmas characters dancing to the music. See Santa coming in for a landing on the roof. A nativity scene under the tree adds to this display. Large train and snowmen are seen standing tall. Watch for Santa waving in the window to welcome all visitors. Several Disney characters are seen shining brightly throughout this yard as well as many lit trees changing colors. Many lights are seen on the bushes and across the house also around the garage doors.

Lots of Christmas lights and ornaments, and reindeer dancing (blinking) to the music

The Michaels House

For more than 50 years now, this house has been elaborately decorated, with a new design every year! After a few years away, this display is back and bigger than ever. Can’t promise more years ... but wanted to let everyone know it’s here again.

East Broad Avenue

Tons of inflatables, including an 11-foot elephant. There's not one spot in the front yard that's not decorated. Candy canes are hanging outside for the little ones.

Cowley Park

Winter Glow returns to Cowley Park, lifting the spirits of all who see it, including the children at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital, who have a terrific view of the merriment.

This home features two 8-foot nutcrackers, many colored lights and a lighted North Pole.

Steve's House

2018 Season lights continue through Jan 1. Huge light display with tons of detail. Hundreds of trees wrapped with lights, animated show in the middle, with motifs covering more than 3 acres. Installed by Diamond Landscape Service in Spokane. Lights don't go on before 5 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. Monday thru Wednesday, and 5-10:45 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Christmas Eve and Christmas will run longer hours, from 4:45 to 11 p.m. Come before Christmas Eve avoid 30 cars waiting in line. Set your radio to 107.5 FM.

On top of Five Mile off of Cedar Rodd, Two Home made Nut Crackers Eight Feet Tall, Home sits up on lighted lot with many colored lights and North Pole Light, Lighted American Flag.

Santa and Mrs. Claus, flashing lights, and blow-mold candles, toy soldiers, lanterns, carolers, nativity scene, Christmas trees, candy canes and an assortment of snowmen!

Center Road Holiday Lights

Thousands of lights, set to music. Now in its eighth year, Center Road Holiday Lights has become a favorite family tradition for the holidays! Show runs until 10 p.m. Sunday through Friday; and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

The lights dance to the music and we have blow ups, too.

Giant pine tree covered in white lights. Every house on the street is decorated with arches over the driveways. This is a family favorite!

Snoopy Christmas Party!

Our display will knock your socks off! We have more than 30 Christmas inflatables in all shapes and sizes. We are huge dog lovers and have all kinds of Christmas canines on display and a very large collection of Peanuts decorations too. Can you count how many dogs you can see? We have a very magical Christmas Light Display that will bring out the inner child in everyone. Our display is well worth driving out to the Spokane Valley to see. It is super easy to find, just off of I-90 and Thierman/Appleway. Come join the party!

Keller and 16th Ave. Turn south on Keller. Numerous homes along this street. Beautifully decorated enormous tree.

Davis Road

Lots of pretty lights and animals.

Main and Farr, Spokane Valley

From Main to Sprague, there are a lot of houses decorated.

J&J's Christmas Light Show

J&J are at it again this year! This is our second year of having Christmas music synchronized to lights. We have doubled the pixel lights and invested in a better FM transmitter (for the best sound quality, park AWAY from the mailbox). Tune your FM radio to 97.9. What a great display. This house lights up the entire block and the kids love all the music, lights, snowmen, penguins and Santa’s that decorate yard. There’s something for everyone, even a snowman that stands taller than the house. It’s one of our family favorites!

Park Terrace

Cute yard features Santa and his reindeer up on the rooftops, several inflatables and lighted deer and Christmas animals in the yard. There are several festive homes in this neighborhood.

Galewood Drive

Home features elaborate light display with several inflatables. A neighbor two doors down also is well decorated for the season.

North Christopher Drive

Several homes along the length of Christopher Drive, in the Park Terrace neighborhood of Coeur d'Alene, are tastefully decorated for the holiday. Makes for a lovely stroll or drive.

Parkwood Circle

Several inflatables and lighted deer dot the lawn of this festive home.

Columbus

20th and University

The first four houses on this block are beautiful. Come to see them, but then take the time to check out nearby street like 23rd and the other side of University on Sunrise

Deer Park

Deer Park

A spectacular display out in the country where one would not necessarily expect to see something of this grand scale. Well over an acre, all beautifully done in an elegant and traditional style. A mix of LED, traditional style bulbs, color, and white lights are all balanced together to create a beautiful display.
