Lace up your sneakers and make a commitment to live healthier by joining the American Heart Association’s annual National Walking Day. Bring your sneakers to work and set aside 30 minutes for a walking break, and invite your co-workers to walk with you. In downtown Spokane, join the American Heart Association for a group walk at Riverfront Park starting at the Clocktower. The American Heart Association will also have healthy snacks, living fit demos and fun giveaways for walkers that register for the annual Spokane Heart Walk & 5K Run in September.
