Women Riders Sought

Mountain biking

The Skurtzendirt Mountain Bike Association is inviting women of all cycling skill levels to join in a weekend of mountain biking events and workshops based at Farragut State Park June 8-9. The registration deadline is June. 1.

The schedule includes workshops on handling skills, nutrition and bike mechanics as well as a women’s cycling products seminar.

Several rides are scheduled, including a night ride, plus a campfire session and group meals. Fee of $52 includes all workshops and events, t-shirt, handbook, raffle entries, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and snacks.
