Workers build a fence designed to catch more falling rocks and give workers a safe place to work at a rockslide on Interstate 90 near Hyak, Wash., on Monday. The slide – and efforts to stabilize rocks on the hillside at right – closed the major route between Eastern and Western Washington to traffic in both directions from early Sunday until late Monday, when one lane in each direction was reopened.
