Gene Yoakum, of north Spokane, makes it down his ramp to the sidewalk and his mailbox on Friday. He lost a leg in an accident, then was partially paralyzed by a stroke. He still likes to get out to the bus stop and travel on days when he can find his way around the snow berms.
