Corvallis Mountain Rescue Unit volunteers try to search the north side of Mount Hood in Oregon on Dec. 12, 2006, as the mountain continues to be engulfed in a storm. Rescue teams tried to head up flanks of the treacherous mountain daily to search for three climbers reported missing in heavy snow. No real break in the weather came until Dec. 16.
