Annie Pierce of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Spokane spent two weeks sewing a period dress to celebrate the 200th anniversary on Thursday of President Abraham Lincoln's birth on Feb. 12, 1809. She was part of a wreath-laying ceremony at the city's Lincoln Statue at Main and Monroe downtown.
