A FedEx ATR-42 twin turboprop cargo plane sits off the runway at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport on Tuesday morning, Jan. 27, 2009. The landing FedEx cargo plane operated by Coeur d’Alene, Idaho-based Empire Airways veered off the runway, crashed and caught fire. Both crew members walked away from the plane.
