Aurora, a 20-year-old beluga whale, swims with her calf after giving birth at the Vancouver Aquarium in Vancouver, B.C., on Sunday. The female calf, which weighed about 110 pounds, was born after several hours of labor as members of the public watched. The calf is the aquarium’s sixth beluga and the second whale to be born at the aquarium during the past year. Last June, Aurora’s daughter Qila gave birth to a calf named Tiqa.
