Ryli Warnock, left, Austin Pitts, center, and Megan Wallace hold boxes loaded with hygiene products Monday that sixth-graders at Sheridan Elementary collected for Hope House and House of Charity. Seventy-four students started the project in January and collected 3,000 items for 300 care packages. Principal Pete Hall thanked the students, saying “Eighty-three percent of Sheridan families are at or below the poverty level, and the sweet thing is, we may not have a lot ourselves, but we found it within our hearts to contribute to others.”
