Leo Shollenberger and his grandson Leo Shollenberger looked for winter-killed fish at the pond at their family home near Newman Lake. The Mountain View Middle School seventh-grader has been so influenced by his grandfather, who is raising him, he participated in the Guiding Light essay contest at school and had his essay about his grandfather chosen to be read at a recent celebration.
