Taylan Miller, 7, left, Ty Warner, 9, center, and Colton Sior, 9, measure distances in feet and meters as they walk down the footpaths at Silverwood Theme Park on Thursday. The three are part of the East Valley Planned Enrichment Program, a program for gifted students from around the East Valley School District, and were taking part in Science Day at the theme park, where approximately 2,000 students from around the region participated in competitions, measurements and exercises while on the roller coasters and other rides.
