Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II looks on as Lance Corporal Johnson Beharry, left, and Australian Trooper Mark Donaldson, both holders of the Victoria Cross, the Commonwealth’s highest decoration for military valor, lay a wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier in London’s Westminster Abbey, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, during a memorial service. The service was held to commemorate the passing of the World War I generation, following the deaths of surviving British World War I veterans earlier this year.
