Ken Briggs, Spokane Valley Partners CEO, drives a forklift with a pallet of frozen turkey-and-gravy dinners. He unloaded 5,000 pounds of food delivered by Northwest Harvest of Kent, Wash., Monday morning. The food bank typically distributes 35,000 pounds of food to more than 250 families each week.
