Multicultural message: Gonzaga University students, faculty and staff and other Spokane residents form a human chain of interlocking arms in support of the United Nations’ International Day of Tolerance on Monday afternoon on campus. The event, which had about 80 participants, was co-sponsored by Gonzaga’s Unity Multicultural Education Center and the university’s Institute for Action Against Hate.
