Derrick Hansen, who farms with his family at Greenbluff, checks out freeze damage at his family's apple orchard Monday, Oct. 12, 2009. Most of the apples are still good for picking, but the damage from the cold may limit the shelf life of the fruit once picked. Hansen added that the crop of prunes were severely damaged by the recent hard freeze.
