Megan Murphy holds a sign as students gather for “boobquake” Monday, April 26, 2010, at the Bell Tower on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind. According to the Journal & Courier, Jennifer McCreight, a senior at Purdue, started “boobquake” after comments by Iranian cleric Kazem Sedighi, who said promiscuous women were responsible for earthquakes in Iran. “As a scientist I had to challenge it,” McCreight told the Journal & Courier. Participants were asked to wear any revealing clothing they felt comfortable in.
