Grand opening: Lee Burgess, right, talks with Glen Whiteley as he pulls his 1915 Ford, equipped like a police car, away from the curb outside the Spokane Law Enforcement Museum on Tuesday. Whiteley’s collection of police gear and memorabilia is the foundation of the new museum at 1201 W. First Ave., which held its grand opening Tuesday. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
