Barbera Johnson and Robert Johnson of Sacramento, Calif., are shown putting out feed to bait elk for the purpose of hunting on the property of Boundary County Idaho landowner Richard Raines. Raines, who is Barbera Johnson’s father, also had been documented as putting out bait previously. This photo was made in mid December 2010 by Idaho Fish and Game officers who later filed illegal hunting charges against the Johnsons. Raines was charged with helping process the illegally killed elk. On Dec. 13, 2010, the three suspects pleaded guilty to various charges and Judge Justin Julien fined them a total of more than $9,000.
