Boom operator Tech Sgt. Gabe Ourso gives a wave to one of the United States Air Force Thunderbirds which had just finished refuling behind the KC-135 air refueling tanker while the demonstration team was enroute to Spokane on Thursday, July 22, 2010, for Saturday's Skyfest 2010. The boom operators lies in a coffin-sized pod at the rear of the plane and flies the boom into position to deliver fuel.
