Glen Whiteley holds a buckle and belt from the uniform of William H. Lewis, a pioneering Spokane police officer, at the Spokane Law Enforcement Museum Monday. The uniform, which Lewis brought from his previous job in Helena, inspired a department-wide tradition of uniformed police in Spokane.
