Skitch Schtick: CJ Montague, 17, of Spokane, shows some exuberance to the judges as he auditions for the role of Skitch, the Community Colleges of Spokane’s Sasquatch mascot, on Tuesday. Prospective Skitches acted out emotions and imitated animals. The winner will perform during athletic events around campus, except for cross- country running. Heather McKenzie, student activities coordinator, explained, “Cross-country is near the woods.”
