Into the wood: Andrew Merriman, of Kalispell, Mont., plays in a tree at Glacier National Park in Montana on Tuesday, the day the million-acre park celebrated its 100th anniversary. Glacier, signed into law on May 11, 1910, by President William Howard Taft, draws 2 million visitors each year to see its sawtooth peaks, clear lakes and wildlife.
