New surveillance photos show a suspect in an Oct. 5 entering a convenience store in a wheelchair prior to the incident, which injured a teenager in both legs. Police do not believe the man needs the wheelchair and described him as a Hispanic man in his late teens or 20s. Photos released today from the Tesora, 091 E. Sharp Ave., at show him wearing a dark sweatshirt and being pushed by a man wearing baggy pants and a gray sweatshirt. After the men left the store, police believe the man in the wheelchair shot a 19-year-old Spokane man in both legs during an argument involving four men at Sharp Avenue and Hamilton Street about 12:30 a.m. The gunman fled before police arrived. Police released surveillance photos today in hopes of generating more tips. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
