Dancing display: Five-year-old Talan McCarthy watches the Coeur d’Alene Tribe Shooting Star Dancers at North Idaho College on Monday along with the rest of the kids from NIC Children’s Center. The performance was part of American Indian Heritage Week hosted by the North Idaho College American Indian Student Alliance. This week’s events include a silent auction, art show and the Inter-Tribal Food Feast on Wednesday.
