Studying lake life: Darin Jenneskens, a sixth-grader from Tekoa Elementary, observes small invertebrates in lake water as part of Trout Turn Out on Thursday at Liberty Lake Regional Park. Organized by the Spokane Conservation District, along with Trout Unlimited, the Franklin Conservation District and the Northwest Natural Resources Institute, students released trout they had raised.
