Spokane Valley Partners CEO Ken Briggs thanks the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce, the City Council, Modern Electric and Washington state Sen. Jeff Baxter on Wednesday for their part in securing $100,000 from the state Legislature for capital improvements at the facility, which will include a fire suppression system, resurfacing the parking lot and upgrading the kitchen.
