Raw chestnuts and commercially-prepared chestnuts are on display at Cassano's grocery at Mission and Napa in Spokane Friday, Dec. 16, 2011. The chestnuts are easy to roast and eat and the prepared versions, both savory and sweet, are used for cooking, baking and desserts.
