Cleaning up: A backhoe works near several derailed train cars Sunday in University Place, Wash. A railroad spokesman said it might take three weeks to remove all debris from the site, where a freight train derailed Saturday night and sideswiped another on the banks of Puget Sound, spilling a small amount of lye, a hazardous chemical. A hazmat team determined that there was no public threat.
