Rowen Higley, 4 of Tacoma, son of Rus Higley, playfully steps over the giant rib bones on Friday June 24, 2011. Higley, on the faculty of the Marine Science and Technology program at Highline Community College, is supervising the preparation of the skeleton from a 37-foot gray whale that died in Puget Sound in April 2010.
