Spokane Valley Station 9 firefighters Marc Lange and Paul Kimball led their Spokane Valley Fire team to first place in the annual Scott Firefighter Stair Climb in Seattle last weekend. Kimball placed third among the 1,338 participants who climbed 69 flights of stairs in full gear and breathing apparatus to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
