Cleaning up: City of Seattle workers clear debris from a mudslide in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood on Monday. Heavy rain over the weekend weakened steep slopes in Western Washington. Numerous mudslides also covered railroad tracks in the Puget Sound area, mostly on the stretch between Seattle and Everett, BNSF spokesman Gus Melonas said.
