Getting reel: Joe Buster, 17, of Spokane, says the best fishing is right in our own backyard, as he casts a line into the waters in Riverfront Park on Wednesday. The Spokane River between Monroe Street Dam and Upriver Dam is open to fishing year-round while other sections of the river are closed until June 1 or June 4.
