Royale Williams, 33, of Spokane, placed a 2-liter bottle of soda at a curbside memorial for Otto Zehm on Friday at the Zip Trip at 1712 N. Division St. The memorial also included Snickers candy bars and flowers. Zehm, who was in the Zip Trip to buy candy and pop, was beaten by police at the store in 2006.
