Stately elegance: With an installed height of about 25 feet, the Washington Capitol’s noble fir was provided by the Port Blakely Tree Farm. Offering a more subdued look this year, the tree will have a 5,000-LED-light display, along with traditional trimmings, for the Dec. 2 lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. in the Capitol Rotunda in Olympia.
