The right tool: Spokane artist Tom Quinn selects a brush Friday as he works on a mural on the side of the former Bulldog Tavern at the corner of Sharp Avenue and Hamilton Street in the Gonzaga University district. The 48-foot-long painting depicts notable Zags and other area folks. Quinn has already spent three weeks on the project and anticipates he needs another four.
