Crystal gets dressed for work: “I call them her pajamas,” says Jenny Dieringer, 15, of Moses Lake, as she wraps the legs of 8-year-old mare Crystal on Friday at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center. She spent three hours preparing the horse Friday morning. Dieringer will participate, with Crystal, in the Kaniksu Quarter Horse Association Classic today and Sunday. She will compete in the Western Pleasure, Trail, Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Horsemanship and Equitation competitions. The horse is owned by Denise Turner, of Moses Lake.
