Las Vegas Metro Police officers stand watch outside the entrance to the Excalibur hotel-casino after a shooting near the registration desk left two dead, Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, in Las Vegas. At around 8:30 p.m., a man shot a woman, who was a vendor at the hotel's concierge desk, and then turned the gun on himself. The man was found dead at the scene. The woman was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
