Skiers take off in the mass start for 250 competitors in the 34th annual Langlauf 10-kilometer cross-country ski race Sunday at Mount Spokane. The fastest skiers through the foggy conditions were Brad Bauer, 38, of Seattle, the overall winner in 27:33, and Deb Bauer, 46, of Spokane, the top female in 33:01.
