The Washington East Soccer Club and Seely Soccer Academy’s boys U-14 team placed third in the nation at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, in Sacramento, Calif., July 11-14. Washington East advanced through state and regional competitions in May and June to represent Washington and the Western United States at the national competition. The team was also awarded the Presidents Cup Sportsmanship Award. Washington East competed for the title of national champion against teams from Indiana, Georgia and New Jersey.
