Coeur d'Alene police are asking for help identifying thieves who broke into storage units on North Atlas Road last month. Employees at Coeur d'Alene Place Self Storage, 5850 N. Atlas Road., reported April 28 that several locks had been cut from storage units throughout the complex, police said today. Survellance video shows three men in hooded sweatshirts and dark clothing walk through the proprety just before midnight. The men walked around until 4:30 a.m. and appear to cut locks with a bolt cutter on several occassions, according to police. Employees beleive the thieves cut a chain link fence to acess the building. They discovered several RVs that had been damaged and burglarized.
