Studio session: Musicfest Northwest ballet division adjudicator Peter Christie, from Ballet West in Salt Lake City, coaxes a smile from Megan Styborski (No. 8), of Spokane, as she performs a port de bras on Wednesday at the Gonzaga University Theatre Dance Studio. The six-day, 67th annual event includes students in voice, brass, flute, guitar, reed, piano, organ and string. It concludes with the adjudicator’s Choice Awards gold medal performances on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane. Admission is free.
