This photo provided by the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office shows a wolf that took down a deer in Number Two Canyon on the west side of Wenatchee on Tuesday. People living nearby reported seeing the wolf go after the deer about 6:15 a.m. A deputy had to put the deer down because it was too injured to survive on its own, Undersheriff John Wisemore said.
